छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांची उल्लेखनीय कार्य: स्वराज्य स्थापना – महाराजांनी आदिलशाही, मुघल आणि इतर परकीय सत्तांविरुद्ध लढून स्वतंत्र मराठा स्वराज्याची स्थापना केली. गनिमी कावा – छापामारी युद्धतंत्र वापरून त्यांनी शत्रूंना अनेकदा चकवले, हे युद्धतंत्र पुढे मराठ्यांची प्रमुख ताकद बनले. राज्याभिषेक (१६७४) – रायगड किल्ल्यावर मोठ्या वैभवात महाराजांचा राज्याभिषेक झाला, ज्याने स्वराज्याला धार्मिक व राजकीय मान्यता मिळाली. दुर्ग बांधणी व संरक्षण – त्यांनी रायगड, प्रतापगड, सिंधुदुर्ग यांसारखे बळकट किल्ले बांधले व मराठा साम्राज्याच्या संरक्षणासाठी किल्ल्यांचे विस्तृत जाळे निर्माण केले. हिंदवी स्वराज्याचा विचार – धर्मनिरपेक्षतेचा अवलंब करत, सर्व जातीधर्मांतील लोकांना स्वराज्यात स्थान दिले. आरमारी दलाची स्थापना – सिद्दी व पोर्तुगीजांचा सामना करण्यासाठी स्वतंत्र नौदल उभारले, जो पश्चिम किनाऱ्यावरील पहिला भारतीय आरमारी प्रयत्न होता. सुशासन व प्रशासन – आठ मंत्र्यांची ‘अष्टप्रधान मंडळ’ रचना केली, करपद्धतीत सुधारणा केली, शेतकऱ्यांसाठी न्यायनिवाडा केला. महिलांचा सन्मान – स्त्रियांच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी कठोर नियम लागू केले, त्यांच्या सन्मानाचे रक्षण केले. धार्मिक सहिष्णुता – विविध धर्मीय लोकांना प्रशासकीय जबाबदाऱ्या दिल्या, मंदिरांसोबत मशिदींचाही सन्मान राखला. स्वाभिमानाचे प्रतीक – शिवाजी महाराज हे स्वातंत्र्य, शौर्य व स्वाभिमानाचे प्रेरणास्थान बनले. हे सर्व कार्य शिवाजी महाराजांनी अल्प आयुष्यात करून दाखवले, जे भारताच्या इतिहासातील एक तेजस्वी पर्व ठरले. #ChatrapatiShivajiMaharaj
