Zubeen Garg, born Zubeen Borthakur on November 18, 1972, in Tura, Meghalaya, was a celebrated Indian singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Over his illustrious career, Garg sang over 32,000 songs in more than 40 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, and various regional dialects. Beyond his musical talents, Garg was known for his humanitarian efforts, including offering his two-storeyed building in Assam as a COVID-19 care center during the pandemic.
