Vipul Shah on allegations that The Kerala Story 2 targets a particular religion: "Can I show Rehman Dakait as a Hindu?"; hits back at Anurag Kashyap's comments: "He made a film about a father-daughter's immoral relationship..." It was a dramatic day as The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond's release almost got pushed by two weeks due to an order by Kerala High Court. However, the makers immediately filed for an appeal after which the stay on the release was lifted. Consequently, the film was released from the evening of Friday, February 27. Around the same time, producer Vipul Shah held a press conference and gave headline worthy quotes. Vipul Shah was asked to comment on Anurag Kashyap's scathing comments on The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond. Vipul thundered, "Anurag ji made a film, That Girl In Yellow Boots (2011) which touched upon a daughter and father's immoral relationship. So, when a director makes a film about a daughter and father's physical relationship, should we take his viewpoint seriously? This was a question raised by our director Kamakhaya Narayan Singh. "He added, "I was hoping that since Anurag talks openly, he would react to this comment by our director. Hopefully, in a few days, he'll share his answer. I don't personally like to comment on someone's view. "When remarked that his films targets a particular religion, Vipul said, "First and foremost, we have not targeted any religion or community in the film, neither in The Kerala Story (2023) or The Kerala St... #Kerala #High_Court #hits_back #Anurag_Kashyap #Kerala_Story #Kerala_High #Story #Vipul_Shah #Rehman_Dakait #show_Rehman

Anurag Kashyap REACTS to being named in Epstein Files, denies any link: “Clickbaits in my name are more popular than my films” Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has publicly responded after his name surfaced in the so-called Epstein Files, a set of documents tied to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that have been widely circulated online and have drawn global attention. In recent days, digital copies of unverified court records, emails and other material linked to Epstein’s network have reignited debate about numerous public figures whose names appear in the files. Among them, Kashyap — known for acclaimed films such as Gangs of Wasseypur and Black Friday — was referred to in one of the email exchanges as a “Bollywood guy” and a “famous Bollywood director. ”Speaking to Hindustan Times, Kashyap strongly denied any involvement or association with Epstein or the events mentioned in the documents. “I’ve no clue about this. I get invitations as a speaker, about 15 a month. I rarely respond,” Kashyap said, underlining that he often receives invitations from various organisations and forums. “Also, I have never been to Beijing in my life,” he added, referring to the alleged event location noted in the circulated files. Commenting on the nature of the documents and the accompanying speculation, the filmmaker questioned their credibility. “It’s some random email, that’s self-explanatory. The clickbaits in my name are more popular than my films,” Kashyap said... #Epstein #Jeffrey_Epstein #Epstein_Files #Anurag_Kashyap #offender_Jeffrey #Kashyap_REACTS #so-called_Epstein #Filmmaker_Anurag #global_attention #Kashyap
