The National Hurricane Center (NHC) forecasts steady intensification, with Humberto potentially reaching hurricane status within 60 hours and becoming a major hurricane in 3–4 days. Environmental conditions, including warm sea surface temperatures and low vertical wind shear, are conducive for strengthening.
