Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups Release Postponed Due to Ongoing US-Iran War Yash fans will have to wait longer to watch Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups as the makers have decided to postpone the film due to the ongoing US-Iran war. The announcement comes with a new release date set for June 4. According to a statement from the team, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is a film we conceptualized with the vision to create cinema for a global audience. Filmed in Kannada and English, it is built with the conviction to connect with viewers both at home and across the world." The decision was made to reschedule the release "in the interest of our partners and our audience." The film's synopsis has been subject to speculation after a Reddit user shared a screengrab from Letterboxd. The original synopsis read, "In the lawless heat of old-world Goa, Raya, a ruthless femboy mobster, is forced into a sham marriage with Nadia, a rival lesbian heir. Raya weaponizes the union, unleashing a violent, stylish tyranny to crush the coastal cartels and seize absolute control." However, after fact-checking, it was found that Letterboxd has since updated its synopsis to read, "Set in a bygone era, this gripping tale unfolds in the coastal paradise of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel pulls the strings behind a facade of sun-soaked beaches and vibrant culture." The film's director is Geetu Mohandas, and it features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles.#Goa #Reddit #Geetu_Mohandas #Tara_Sutaria #Kiara_Advani #Nayanthara #USIran_War #Toxic_A_Fairy_Tale_for_GrownUps #Yash_fans #Kannada #English #Huma_Qureshi #Rukmini_Vasanth #Letterboxd
