Mark Consuelos Reveals How 'Live' Has 'Gotten in the Way' of His Sex Life with Kelly Ripa Mark Consuelos is opening up about the challenges of balancing his career and personal life. The Live! With Kelly and Ryan host appeared on his wife Kelly Ripa's podcast, Getting Real with Kelly Ripa, where he shared how their daytime talk show has "gotten in the way" of their sex life. Consuelos joked that they used to have a routine of making time for intimacy after putting their kids to bed, but things changed once Live! premiered. He explained, "We used to have this little ritual where we'd go to bed together and it was our thing, and then the show started and suddenly we're getting up at 3:30 in the morning, going on live TV, and it's like, 'Okay, we're not doing that anymore.'" The actor went on to reveal that they've had to make adjustments to accommodate their demanding schedules. "It's just gotten really crazy," Consuelos said. "We're talking about having to get up at 3:30 in the morning, and then you're done by 10 o'clock, and then you have to go home and take care of the kids and do all that stuff... It's been a real adjustment for us." Despite the challenges, Consuelos emphasized that their marriage remains strong. "I think we've just learned to appreciate each other even more because it's not as easy as it used to be," he said. Ripa chimed in, sharing her own struggles with balancing work and family life. "It's hard when you're both working and trying to have a relationship... But I think that's what makes it so special is that we're making an effort to prioritize each other and our marriage."
