The police were advised to be more considerate and courteous towards devotees, especially women and children, while maintaining law and order during the festival. The DGP reportedly emphasized that the primary responsibility of the police is to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors, including devotees. The 12-day festival, which began on January 22, will conclude on February 2.
