Web Series 'Operation White Sea' Honors Kargil Martyr Ajay Ahuja, Sparks Community Reflection Kota: A web series titled Operation White Sea has been released on an OTT platform, chronicling the life of Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja, a brave Indian Air Force officer who died in the 1999 Kargil War. The series, which premiered on Friday with its trailer and released its first episode on Saturday, aims to honor Ahuja’s legacy. His family, though relocated to Agra, remains connected to his ancestral home in Kota, where his neighbors and community members have shared heartfelt memories of his life and sacrifice. Ahuja’s neighbors in Kota’s Railway Housing Society expressed pride in the series, noting that it accurately portrays his story. One resident, Subodh Baldua, a member of the housing society’s committee, revealed that Ahuja used to ride a scooter in Kota, a detail included in the series. The film also depicts the exact scene of Ahuja’s funeral, with his son Ankur, then a young boy, present at the event. Baldua emphasized that the series captures the essence of Ahuja’s life, from his daily routines to his dedication to his family. Ahuja’s father, P.L. Ahuja, had built the family home in Kota in 1992, where Ahuja lived during his breaks from work. The house, now rented out, remains a symbol of his connection to the city. However, Ahuja’s family has since moved to Agra, leaving the home in Kota unoccupied. His wife, Alka, resides in Delhi, while his son Ankur lives in the U.S. Despite the family’s absence, the community in Kota continues to honor Ahuja’s memory. The series has also sparked discussions about the state of Ahuja’s memorial park in Kota’s Malal Road area. The park, built in his honor, features a statue of Ahuja, but locals report it has fallen into disrepair.#kota #operation_white_sea #ajay_ahuja #railway_housing_society #p_l_ahuja
