4 Women Rescued from Flesh Trade Operation at Luxury Spa in Nagpur Nagpur police conducted a raid under Operation Shakti on Sunday evening, dismantling a prostitution racket allegedly operating at a luxury spa near Bajaj Nagar Chowk. The operation led to the rescue of four women, who were reportedly being exploited under the guise of wellness services. Police arrested Aman Vaidya, a 28-year-old resident of Byramji Town, for managing the illegal activities at the spa. The investigation also identified two absconding suspects, Sushilkumar Lohariwal and Kamalkumar Gosavi, both from Rourkela, who are believed to have facilitated the trafficking of the women to Nagpur. The rescued women, according to police sources, originated from various parts of India, including Pune, Delhi, and Meghalaya. During the raid, officers seized cash amounting to Rs4,800, three mobile phones, and other items collectively valued at Rs84,830. The case has been registered at Bajaj Nagar police station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Investigators suspect the operation is part of a larger network involving interstate trafficking of women, highlighting the scale of the crime. Aman Vaidya, the arrested spa manager, does not have a prior criminal record, according to police. However, the investigation is ongoing, with authorities planning to question the spa owner and other associates to uncover further details about the network. The case underscores the persistent challenges in combating human trafficking, particularly in urban areas where such crimes often operate under the cover of legitimate businesses.
