Villagers demanded immediate action from the administration to desilt the river and implement long-term solutions to prevent future flooding. Meanwhile, livestock owners in Ashti taluka faced losses as eight goats were swept away by the floodwaters. The carcasses of four goats have been recovered, while searches continue for the remaining animals. Belora village was completely surrounded by floodwaters from the Bakli River, forcing authorities to suspend traffic as water continued to flow over the road.
