8 Bidgaon warehouses gutted, goods worth lakhs turned to ashes A major fire broke out in eight warehouses in Bidgaon, located under Bahadura nagar panchayat, on Monday morning, destroying goods worth lakhs of rupees. The blaze reportedly started around 9 a.m. in a foam warehouse and quickly spread to nearby scrap godowns. The situation worsened after nearly five gas cylinders exploded, causing the fire to grow significantly and become visible from a long distance. The incident occurred near Bhandewadi, where approximately 18 tin-shed warehouses owned by Tushar Sahu were rented out to various traders dealing in foam, scrap, aluminium, plywood, and other materials. Among the worst-affected businesses was Amit Ahluwalia’s Shree Ramdhara Comforts Products Pvt Ltd, where foam and related materials were completely gutted. Heavy losses were also reported at Rajesh Sahu’s Navdhara Industries/Rampal Steel Industries and Jayesh Sahu’s Santosh Steel Enterprises, where scrap, iron, steel materials, and office equipment were destroyed. Vijay Shahane’s Fensina Vintech Pvt Ltd warehouse suffered extensive damage, with compressor, routing, and cleaning machines burnt. A Tata Ace goods vehicle, a press machine, and other materials at Trivendra Raghuvanshi’s Asar Green Kabadi warehouse were also reduced to ashes, while two vacant godowns were damaged. Fire brigade teams from six stations of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, along with fire tenders from Bahadura nagar panchayat and Mihan, arrived at the scene. After nearly four hours, the firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. No casualties were reported. The incident highlights the devastating impact of such disasters on local businesses and the challenges faced in containing large-scale fires in industrial areas.#bidgaon #bahadura_nagar_panchayat #tushar_sahu #amit_ahluwalia #shree_ramdhara_comforts_products_pvt_ltd
