Ballia LPG Cylinder & KYC Woes | Consumers Demand Old Facility Consumers in Ballia district are facing significant challenges due to new regulations and delays in accessing LPG cylinders and KYC verification processes. On Wednesday, long queues were observed at gas agencies across urban and rural areas, forcing people to wait for hours. Previously, gas cylinder bookings used to arrive within one or two days, but now delivery delays have become a common issue. Many residents now have to physically visit agencies or warehouses to stand in lines for their cylinders. Under the new system, a cylinder can only be booked again approximately 25 days after its delivery. This extended waiting period has exacerbated difficulties for consumers, especially with the mandatory KYC process. The additional bureaucratic steps have caused frustration, leading to time, financial, and physical strain for many. A consumer who came to complete KYC procedures, Nidhi Singh, reported that the crowd made waiting in line extremely time-consuming. Om Singh Rathore, who arrived from nearly 10 kilometers away despite having a plaster cast on his hand, criticized the complex procedures. He stated that the process now takes four to five hours, including lining up, KYC verification, and obtaining a receipt. He demanded the restoration of the previous, simpler system. Another consumer complained that despite a confirmed booking and a delivery message, the cylinder had not yet arrived. Local residents have collectively urged authorities to improve the system and provide relief to affected users. The situation highlights the growing dissatisfaction with the current administrative setup, as people struggle to access essential services efficiently.#lpg_cylinder #ballia_district #nidhi_singh #om_singh_rathore #kyc_verification
