Meanwhile, IPS officer Adarsh Sidhu has been appointed as a DIG in the Border Security Force (BSF). The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters in Jaipur and Jhunjhunu conducted simultaneous raids, resulting in the arrest of a PWD official and his accomplice. The accused, identified as a XEN (Additional Executive Engineer) and a broker, were caught red-handed while accepting 33 lakh rupees in exchange for altering land alignment. The ACB stated that the accused had demanded a total of 70 lakh rupees for the same transaction, causing significant disruption within the department. In Dausa, a severe road accident occurred in Bandikui, where a tractor-trailer carrying women heading to a CM's assembly event overturned. Around 20 women were injured, with over 15 hospitalized at Bandikui Hospital. The incident disrupted local traffic and daily life. A massive fire broke out at a wooden cabin in Fadi Chowk, Dhoulpur, damaging thousands of rupees worth of goods. Firefighters extinguished the blaze after a prolonged effort, though the cause of the fire is under investigation. In Zhahlavad, an unidentified youth's body was recovered from a lake in Durgapur village. The police are conducting inquiries to identify the deceased.
