Karnataka Launches Direct FlyBus Service Between Bengaluru Airport and Kozhikode The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a new premium FlyBus service connecting Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport with Kozhikode, significantly easing travel for passengers. This service, which began operations on August 15, offers a direct route for travelers seeking to avoid the logistical challenges of transferring luggage and navigating multiple modes of transport. The initiative has received positive feedback from international and domestic travelers, particularly those from Gulf and Western countries who previously faced delays in reaching their destinations. The FlyBus route spans from Kempegowda International Airport to Kozhikode via Mysuru and Calicut. Passengers can board the bus at key transit points including Nayanahalli Metro Station in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Gonnikoppa, Kud, Mananthavadi, Calicut, and Thamarashery. The service operates on a schedule designed to align with flight timings, ensuring passengers can reach the airport in time for early morning departures. For instance, a bus departing Kozhikode at 7:30 a.m. arrives at Bengaluru Airport by 4:15 p.m., while a night departure from the airport at 10:45 p.m. reaches Kozhikode by 7:15 a.m. the following day. The FlyBus is equipped with a multi-axle Volvo AC bus, accommodating up to 48 passengers. Tickets for the service cost 1,550 rupees per person, with pricing tailored to meet the needs of both international and domestic travelers. The service is particularly beneficial during peak travel seasons, such as Diwali, when demand for seamless transportation is high.#kozhikode #mysuru #kempegowda_international_airport #karnataka_state_road_transport_corporation #calicut
