Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Details Revealed Ahead of October Release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the latest entry in the iconic sub-series of the franchise, is set to release on October 23, marking the return of the series after the 2023 launch of Modern Warfare III. The game’s storyline centers on a full-scale invasion of the Korean Peninsula by North Korea, which threatens global stability. Players will take on the role of a young squad of South Korean soldiers fighting to survive on the collapsing front lines, while Captain Price, a recurring character from previous entries, wages a personal war from the shadows to evade those hunting him. The game’s narrative spans multiple locations, including intense combat in Korea, New York City, Paris, Mumbai, and city-wide assaults to reclaim occupied territories. Developed by Infinity Ward, the same studio behind the original Modern Warfare titles, the game will feature campaign, multiplayer, and DMZ modes. Infinity Ward has previously worked on the first two Call of Duty games and all Modern Warfare entries except Modern Warfare III, which was developed by Sledgehammer Games. The game will not be available on older-generation consoles, such as PS4 or Xbox One, making it the first modern Call of Duty title to exclude these platforms. Instead, it will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. This marks the first time a Call of Duty game will be released on Nintendo hardware since Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Wii-U in 2013. Players who pre-order the Vault edition will gain early access to the game’s beta and campaign content starting October 16. The Vault edition also includes exclusive rewards such as a special operator skin, weapon collection, BlackCell for one season, and a DMZ deployment bonus.#south_korea #north_korea #infinity_ward #call_of_duty_modern_warfare_4 #call_of_duty_ghosts
