Skoda Unveils Kodiaq RS SUV for Q2 2026 Launch The Czech automaker Skoda has confirmed the upcoming launch of its Kodiaq RS model, set to debut in the second quarter of 2026. This high-performance variant of the Kodiaq SUV will be introduced in India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route, which typically results in higher pricing compared to locally assembled models. The vehicle is expected to carry a price tag of approximately Rs 60-65 lakh (on-road in Mumbai), reflecting its premium positioning in the market. The Kodiaq RS will feature significant aesthetic enhancements to emphasize its sporty character. These updates include redesigned front bumpers, aggressive alloy wheels, and a striking bright-red color scheme. While the standard Kodiaq already boasts a robust design, the RS variant aims to elevate its visual appeal with these modifications. Additionally, the interior will adopt a blacked-out cabin with sporty red accents, further reinforcing its performance-oriented identity. The RS model will also receive an advanced driver-assist suite, similar to the features introduced in the standard Kodiaq. This includes adaptive driver-assistance systems (ADAS), powered front seats with ventilation and massage functions, a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, three-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a heads-up display. These features collectively position the Kodiaq RS as one of the most technologically equipped SUVs in its segment. Powering the Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre TSI engine, tuned for enhanced performance. The global-spec version produces 265 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, with similar specifications anticipated for the Indian market. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG) and a four-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain.#india #skoda #kodiaq_rs #cbu #fortuner
