NTA Releases NEET-UG OMR Response Sheets, Opens Challenge Window Until July 15 The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the OMR response sheets for the NEET-UG examination, allowing candidates to cross-check their marked answers and challenge discrepancies. The OMR sheets, which were scanned and sent to candidates’ registered email addresses, are part of the process to ensure accuracy in the evaluation of responses. This follows the release of the provisional answer key on June 25, after the re-exam was conducted on June 21. Candidates are now given a three-day window to submit challenges to their recorded OMR responses, from July 13 to July 15, 2026, with a deadline of 11 am on July 15. The NTA emphasized that any discrepancies between the answers marked on the physical OMR sheet and the recorded responses, or errors in the data fields captured during scanning, can be addressed through the online portal. A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per challenged response must be paid online, and no challenges will be accepted after the deadline or without payment of the processing fee. The NTA also noted that the results of the NEET-UG examination are expected to be declared by the third week of July. This timeline aligns with the standard procedure for releasing results after the challenge period concludes. Candidates are encouraged to review their OMR sheets carefully to identify any potential errors and take advantage of the opportunity to rectify them before the final results are announced. The release of the OMR sheets underscores the NTA’s commitment to transparency and accuracy in the evaluation process. By providing candidates with access to their scanned responses, the agency aims to address concerns about data capture errors and ensure fair assessment.#national_testing_agency #neet_Ug #omr_response_sheets #challenge_window #medical_admissions
