NEET Aspirant Goes Missing, Abduction Suspected A 17-year-old girl preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) went missing from her relative’s residence in the Beltarodi area of Nagpur, prompting police to register a case of suspected abduction. The incident occurred on Monday evening when the girl left her home without informing anyone. She was staying in Beltarodi for NEET coaching and had reportedly attempted to leave her residence on two previous occasions, returning after a few days. According to the complaint filed by her relatives, the girl left her home around 9 p.m. on Monday. Before departing, she allegedly took her personal belongings, her relative’s mobile phone, and 3,000 rupees in cash that were stored in her college bag. Her family members immediately contacted her parents in Yavatmal and other relatives, but no information about her whereabouts was obtained. Suspecting that an unidentified individual may have lured or abducted the minor, the complainant approached the Beltarodi police station. Senior Inspector Ritesh Aher stated that authorities are conducting a search through her friends and utilizing technical surveillance to track her location. The police have initiated a search operation, examining CCTV footage, mobile location data, and statements from neighbors and staff at the coaching center where the girl was enrolled. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether any individual was involved in her disappearance. Police have urged the public to come forward with any information regarding her whereabouts.
