She initially failed her fifth-semester Botany subject due to missing the practical examination, though she scored 73 marks in theory. After retaking the practical and securing 21 marks, her aggregate score rose to 94 out of 150—well above the 60-mark passing threshold. However, when revised results were announced on August 1, the university failed to carry forward her theory marks. Her marksheet now reflects only her practical (21) and internal assessment (17) scores, totaling 38, and declaring her failed again. Her sixth-semester results, finalized on July 11, remain pending, with no official announcement expected before August 11. The student expressed frustration over the situation, stating she needs a valid pass marksheet to apply for postgraduate programs. “I can’t even seek provisional admission because of these mistakes,” she said, adding that her college informed her the error correction process could take up to a month. Her plight is not isolated. Multiple final-year undergraduate students are still awaiting corrected marksheets as postgraduate admission deadlines approach. Others have reported that corrections to previous-semester results are delayed, while new discrepancies have emerged in backlog examination results.
