Using advanced tracking systems, the police identified the taxi that had transported the passenger and quickly contacted the driver, Jafri Esar Amos. The driver, upon realizing the bag was still in his vehicle, immediately reversed course and rushed to the airport. He returned the bag to the police, who then handed it over to the passenger. The recovered bag contained 10,000 dirhams (approximately Rs 2.5 lakh) in cash and critical documents, including the passenger’s passport. The timely recovery prevented the traveler from facing significant financial and bureaucratic challenges. The passenger expressed deep gratitude to both the police and the driver, acknowledging their roles in salvaging his trip. Dubai Tourist Police praised the driver’s honesty and quick action, highlighting his contribution to the city’s reputation for safety and efficiency.
