TAT announces Tomorrowland Thailand to support event-led tourism strategy The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed that the electronic dance music festival Tomorrowland will debut in Asia for the first time, with the event scheduled to take place in Pattaya from 11 to 13 December. This marks a significant step in Thailand’s efforts to establish itself as a premier global event destination. Traditionally held in Antwerp, Tomorrowland’s expansion to Asia represents a strategic move to attract international audiences and bolster the country’s tourism sector. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT governor, highlighted the milestone as a testament to Thailand’s ability to host world-class events and showcase its hospitality to a global audience. “The arrival of Tomorrowland in Thailand is a proud milestone for our country,” she stated. “It reflects strong international confidence in Thailand’s capacity to deliver exceptional experiences while offering a platform to highlight the warmth of Thai hospitality.” The Thailand edition of Tomorrowland will adopt the overarching theme “Consciencia,” aligning with the festival’s editions in Belgium and Brazil. This theme emphasizes six core human emotions—wonder, love, anger, happiness, desire, and sadness—through curated music, stage design, and an immersive narrative. The event will feature six stages, with the Mainstage serving as the central attraction. Other stages, including CORE and Freedom, will also debut in Asia for the first time. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT deputy governor for tourism products and business, emphasized the event’s potential to drive high-value tourism and engage a new generation of global travelers.#tourism_authority_of_thailand #tomorrowland #thapanee_kiatphaibool #pattaya #consiencia
