Sullivan's Crossing Renewed for Season 5 by CW The CW Network has confirmed the renewal of its Canadian romantic drama Sullivan’s Crossing for a fifth season, marking the show’s continued presence on the network after its initial run. The 10-episode season, set to begin production in Nova Scotia later this summer, will premiere on the CW in 2027, maintaining the series’ annual release schedule. This decision follows the show’s earlier renewal by CTV and Crave in Canada, which was announced as part of parent company Bell Media’s upfront programming slate. The renewal comes as the series transitions to a new creative direction, with Roma Roth stepping down as head writer after four seasons. Roth, who remains an executive producer, will be replaced by Floyd Kane, who will oversee the writing of Season 5. Roth emphasized her pride in the show’s success and her commitment to the series, noting her ongoing involvement in expanding her brand through new projects, including the upcoming CTV series Thunder Point, also based on Robyn Carr’s novels. She also executive produces Netflix’s adaptation of Carr’s Virgin River. The show’s renewal has been bolstered by its strong performance across platforms. On the CW, Sullivan’s Crossing has averaged over 1 million cross-platform viewers per episode season-to-date, with significant growth in key demographics. Linear television viewership has risen by 62% among adults 18-49, 26% among adults 25-54, and 30% in total viewers. Meanwhile, VOD platforms have seen a 44% increase in P2+ viewing within seven days of an episode’s release. On Netflix, the series has enjoyed a surge in popularity since its debut in 2025 with its first three seasons.#sullivan_crossing #cw_network #romana_roth #floyd_kane #robyn_carr
