Heavy and commercial vehicles will be prohibited from approaching Qutub Minar via Phool Mandi, Masjid Haji Ali Jan, and Kalka Dass Marg. The traffic police emphasized that no halting or parking will be allowed on these roads, and any vehicles violating the restrictions will be towed immediately. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys in advance, prioritize public transport or the Metro, and use alternate routes such as Aurobindo Marg and other available corridors. Meanwhile, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) launched a week-long safety awareness campaign focused on the proper use of lifts, escalators, and travelators across its network. The initiative, part of the Safety Awareness Week for Lifts and Escalators, aims to educate passengers on safe practices and prevent accidents caused by negligence.
