Speaking at a press conference in Andhra Ratna Bhavan, Dasmunsi demanded a Supreme Court-monitored judicial inquiry into alleged embezzlement of funds and called for accountability from the Union government. The Congress leader raised three critical questions before the nation, accusing the BJP and RSS of failing to address the controversy. She asked who would be held responsible for the alleged irregularities in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, why the resignations of former general secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra had been accepted despite claims of transparency, and why the Centre had refused to order an independent investigation under Supreme Court supervision. Dasmunsi alleged that the acceptance of resignations of senior Trust officials, reports of accounting discrepancies, fake receipts, and financial manipulation indicated a serious scandal rather than administrative errors. She highlighted the expansion of the Special Investigation Team’s probe into expenditures for major Trust events, which she claimed pointed to systemic issues.
