G-Day 2026 to be streamed live by ESPN+ Georgia’s annual Red vs. Black Spring game, G-Day 2026, will be streamed live by ESPN+ on Saturday, April 18, according to an official announcement from the University of Georgia. The game, which serves as a key exhibition event for the Bulldogs, will kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. While ESPN+ is confirmed as the streaming platform, current ESPN listings mistakenly list the game under SEC Network+. The event will take place two weeks after Easter weekend and one week following the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia, which is scheduled for April 9–12, 2026. The Georgia Bulldogs claimed the SEC Championship last season, finishing with a 12–2 overall record and a 7–1 mark in the SEC. Despite their success, the team fell in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl against Ole Miss, losing 39–34. This year’s schedule begins with the 2026 season opener on Saturday, September 5, against the Tennessee State Tigers at Dooley Field. The Bulldogs will host Western Kentucky the following week on September 12 before opening SEC action on the road against Arkansas on September 19. The 2026 season will feature a mix of home and away games, with additional matchups against Vanderbilt, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Georgia Tech. The season culminates with the SEC Championship Game on December 5, which will be held in Atlanta for the first time. The Bulldogs’ spring schedule includes G-Day as a pivotal event to evaluate players and strategies ahead of the regular season. Beyond the football calendar, the university also announced updates to its basketball roster, including the addition of JUCO transfer Kemauri Millender.#espn_plus #university_of_georgia #sanford_stadium #g_day_2026 #dooley_field
