Chakai Munger University Students Protest Exam Results Irregularity Students at Chakai Munger University’s affiliated Chakai P.P.V.I. College staged a protest on Monday, demanding accountability over irregularities in semester-1 and semester-2 exam results. The demonstration, led by the ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) district coordinator Deepak Chaudhary, highlighted concerns that hundreds of students were wrongly marked as absent in their results, causing academic disruptions. According to the students, the 2023-27 academic session’s results for semester-1 and semester-2 contained errors where students were listed as absent despite attending classes. This has created a backlog, preventing them from enrolling in semester-5 courses. The protest followed months of unresolved issues, with students alleging that both college and university authorities have failed to address their grievances. Deepak Chaudhary accused the university administration of bureaucratic delays, stating that colleges submit required documents but the university often rejects them without proper justification. He criticized the lack of accountability, warning that the negligence of officials is jeopardizing students’ futures. During the protest, students handed over a memorandum to the university registrar, Dr. Ghanshyam Rai. In response, Rai acknowledged the systemic flaws, admitting that many faculty members failed to upload internal exam results on time after the implementation of the new semester system in 2023-27 and 2024-28. He revealed that five district-level extension counters have been established to address student complaints. Rai also announced stricter measures to prevent future errors, including a penalty of ₹10,000 for colleges that fail to submit internal exam results promptly.#chakai_munger_university #chakai_ppvi_college #abvp #deepak_chaudhary #dr_ghanshyam_rai
