NTA Addresses CUET UG 2026 Exam Centre Concerns, Opens Scribe Details Submission Window The National Testing Agency (NTA) has acknowledged concerns raised by candidates regarding the allocation of examination centres for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. In response to multiple requests from applicants, the agency stated through its official social media platform that it is “actively reviewing” the issue and will soon provide a resolution for affected candidates. The NTA emphasized that the current situation stems from the high concentration of candidates in a few cities and limited availability of computer-based test (CBT) centres. While the agency expressed understanding of the inconvenience caused, it urged candidates to remain patient, promising an update within the next few days. In parallel, the NTA has opened a dedicated submission window for candidates with disabilities to provide details about their scribes. This process is available on the official CUET portal (cuet.nta.nic.in) and will remain open until May 5, 2026. Applicants who previously opted for the scribe facility can now submit the required information, with the details reflecting in both the “View Application Form” section and the confirmation page. The agency highlighted that this initiative aims to ensure accessibility for candidates with disabilities during the examination. The CUET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted between May 11 and May 31, 2026, in CBT mode. The test will be held across multiple shifts and will cover a broad academic range, including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and a general test component.#nta #cuet_ug #scribe_details #common_university_entrance_test_undergraduate #exam_centre_allocation
