The NTA emphasized that the current situation stems from the high concentration of candidates in a few cities and limited availability of computer-based test (CBT) centres. In parallel, the NTA has opened a dedicated submission window for candidates with disabilities to provide details about their scribes. This process is available on the official CUET portal (cuet.nta.nic.in) and will remain open until May 5, 2026. Applicants who previously opted for the scribe facility can now submit the required information, with the details reflecting in both the “View Application Form” section and the confirmation page.
