One of the key pieces of evidence was a stolen wallet containing Chinese yuan, which the prosecution claimed was taken during a robbery. Among the findings was a Chinese yuan found in the pocket of a sweatshirt and a folded sheet of paper containing a white powdery substance, which the court and prosecution believed resembled drugs.
