Xfinity Launches New Cheaper Mobile Plans and Included Device Protection Xfinity has introduced two new mobile plans designed to offer lower costs and enhanced features for its customers. The plans are available to both new and existing users of Xfinity’s Internet fiber and cable packages. According to the company, most of its mobile customers spend 90% of their time connected to its Wi-Fi network, whether at home, work, or on the go. This insight forms the foundation for the new offerings, which aim to provide seamless connectivity across all scenarios. The revamped plans replace Xfinity Mobile’s previous wireless phone plan lineup. The two new options include more high-speed data and fixed pricing per line, per month. Unlike some carriers that charge additional fees for multiple lines, Xfinity’s approach simplifies billing. However, the fixed pricing model could result in higher overall costs for users with multiple lines. For example, a four-line setup on the new Mobile Plus plan totals $180 per month, compared to $140 under the older Premium Unlimited plan. Both plans come with additional benefits. The Global Travel Pass allows users to connect in over 215 international locations, while the Wi-Fi PowerBoost feature delivers data speeds of up to 1Gbps when connected to an Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot using compatible devices. These features are intended to ensure reliable, fast connectivity regardless of location. The higher-tier plan, Mobile Plus, also includes Lifetime Device Protection for phones, tablets, and smartwatches against damage, loss, and theft. This coverage extends to bring-your-own devices, eliminating the need for trade-ins when upgrading. Additionally, users can upgrade their devices anytime without the hassle of trade-ins.#xfinity #fraser_stirling #xfinity_mobile #global_travel_pass #wifi_powerboost
