Besa to Soon Get Swanky Sports Hub with Pool, Futsal Turf The Nagpur Nagar Panchayat is set to launch a major infrastructure project in the rapidly growing Besa-Pipla area, aiming to establish a modern sports hub equipped with a swimming pool, football turf, and advanced badminton facilities. The initiative, estimated to cost 5 crore rupees, is designed to address the lack of recreational and fitness amenities in the region, particularly for the younger population. The project will be developed near the old Besa Gram Panchayat office, with the proposal currently awaiting formal approval. Besa-Pipla Nagar Panchayat chief officer Bharat Nandanwar highlighted that the sports complex will serve as a central hub for physical activity, offering training facilities and promoting community engagement through sports. He noted that residents from Besa and surrounding areas often travel long distances to access similar amenities, and the new hub aims to resolve this issue. The facility will include a swimming pool, which is expected to be a key attraction, along with dedicated spaces for sports training. The project is part of a broader effort by the panchayat to enhance sports infrastructure in the locality. Construction of a futsal court at Ghogali in Besa-Pipla is already nearing completion, while a multipurpose sports arena is being planned to include gymnasiums, gender-separated changing rooms, waiting areas, cafeteria spaces, and other recreational amenities. Officials emphasized that the development is intended to provide quality infrastructure and training opportunities for aspiring athletes. Residents have expressed strong support for the initiative, citing the long-standing absence of organized sports facilities in the area.#besa_pipla_nagar_panchayat #bharat_nandanwar #besa_ambazari #futsal_court_ghogali #multipurpose_sports_arena
