Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Spotted Ahead of Debut, Reveals Key Features and Market Positioning A prototype of the Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck was recently spotted in Nashik, Maharashtra, ahead of its official debut. The vehicle, which is based on the Scorpio N SUV platform, was largely covered in camouflage, with only its alloy wheels visible. The sighting suggests that the pickup is nearing production readiness, though its official name remains undisclosed at this stage. Mahindra had previously trademarked the "Scorpio X" name in 2024, raising speculation that the unused trademark could be repurposed for this model. The Scorpio N pickup is the production version of the 2023 Global Pik Up concept, which had already showcased its design and technological features. The pickup is expected to feature a double-cab body style, with LED headlights, L-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs), vertically-stacked fog lamps, and C-shaped tail-lights. A front camera is confirmed, with the possibility of a 360-degree or even a 540-degree camera system, which would provide an under-bonnet view. While the double-cab layout is certain, the availability of a single-cab variant remains uncertain, as a test mule for that configuration was spotted testing last year. The pickup will be built on the Scorpio N’s platform but will have a longer wheelbase to accommodate a larger load bed, distinguishing it from its SUV sibling. Interior details include a portrait-style central touchscreen, a three-spoke steering wheel similar to the Mahindra Vision T prototype, a digital driver’s display, rotary controls for dual-zone climate control, and a drive mode selector.
