Andhra Pradesh Announces Major IAS Transfers, Relieves Amrapali of Posting The Andhra Pradesh government has announced significant transfers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers. A total of 22 officials have been moved to new positions, with the state administration releasing orders for the transfers. Among the key changes, Amrapali, who previously held the position of Managing Director (MD) of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), has been relieved of her posting. The government has instructed her to report to the Government Accountability Department (GAD) for further details. Other notable appointments include Shyamala Rao as Principal Secretary to the Department of School Education, Prakharsingh Jain as Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Metro Regional Development Authority, and M. Shiv Prasad as Joint Managing Director of APSRTC. Gitaanjali Sharma has been appointed as MD of Andhra Pradesh State Fiber Limited. Additionally, Mutyalaraju has been named as Commissioner of the Department of Archaeology, while Chakradhara Babu has been assigned additional responsibilities as Commissioner of the Department of Health. The government has also transferred H. S. Rani to the role of Special Secretary in the Housing Department. Responsibilities for the Godavari Pushkar events have been entrusted to Suresh and Bhargav. Kona Shashidhara has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Department of Roads, Buildings, and Transportation. Meanwhile, Amrapali has been relieved of her duties as MD of APSRTC, with no new posting assigned to her at this time. In another move, P. T.
