Amaravati Inner Ring Road and Guntur District Development Plan Announced Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, unveiled a new development plan aimed at transforming Guntur district into one of the best in the country. During a foundation event for the construction of the KIMS Hospital in Amaravati, he emphasized the integration of Guntur, Mangalagiri, Tenali, and Amaravati to create a unified development zone. Naidu highlighted that this initiative would position Guntur as a top-tier district, leveraging its strategic location and resources. The plan includes the construction of the Amaravati Outer Ring Road, which will span 190 kilometers. Once completed, this road will make Amaravati the only city in India with such an extensive outer ring road network. Naidu also announced the development of the Inner Ring Road, which will connect Amaravati with nearby cities like Vijayawada. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity between urban and rural areas. The Outer Ring Road will link key locations, including Nandiveldu in Tenali and Kozhikode in Vijayawada. A 17.5-kilometer link road will connect Nandiveldu to Kozhikode, while another 20-kilometer stretch will extend the Inner Ring Road to areas like Tadepalli and Mangalagiri. The government plans to acquire land from 121 villages across Guntur, Mangalagiri, and Krishna districts to facilitate these infrastructure projects. Naidu noted that the Inner Ring Road plan was initially proposed during the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government but was stalled after the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) lost power. However, the current government has revived the idea, recognizing the long-term benefits of improved connectivity. The project is expected to enhance economic growth, reduce travel time, and boost regional integration.#andhra_pradesh #chandrababu_naidu #amaravati #kims_hospital #guntur_district
