UPPSC: 410 Candidates' Applications for PCS-2025 Main Exam Cancelled, Appeals Can Be Made Until March 17 The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has cancelled the applications of 410 candidates for the PCS-2025 main examination after reviewing their submitted forms. Affected candidates have been given until March 17 to file appeals against the decision. The appeals can be submitted either through registered post or in person at the commission’s office. According to the exam controller, Harshad Dev Pandey, 95 candidates failed to submit their applications at the commission’s office by the stipulated deadline, leading to their disqualification. Additionally, six candidates who secured the food safety officer post, 37 for the district accounts officer post, and 35 for the district health education and information officer post had their applications rejected due to incomplete educational qualifications. A total of 170 candidates had their applications rejected because they passed their postgraduate examinations after the last date for submitting the application, thereby failing to meet the mandatory educational criteria. One candidate’s application was also rejected after a disability certificate revealed 24% disability, which did not meet the required threshold. Furthermore, 13 candidates who claimed to belong to the freedom struggle veteran category had their applications rejected due to the absence of supporting documents. The commission stated that approximately 34 distinct reasons led to the cancellation of the 410 candidates’ applications. Candidates are advised to review the reasons for rejection and submit their appeals promptly to challenge the decision.#uppssc #harshad_dev_pandey #pcs_2025 #food_safety_officer #district_accounts_officer
