Cong Alleges 'Large-Scale Irregularities' in Haryana TET Exam, Demands Re-Test Senior Congress leader and MP Randeep Singh Surjewala on Sunday accused the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (H-TET) Level-3 examination of being compromised by widespread irregularities, including alleged paper leaks, broken seals on question paper packets, mismatched OMR sheets, and numerous printing errors. The exam, held on July 4 at 238 centers across Haryana, was conducted for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). Surjewala claimed that the integrity of the process was severely undermined, with multiple issues reported across various locations. He highlighted that sealed packets containing question papers were found broken at examination centers in Rewari, including Sanglo and Suraj schools, as well as in some centers in Charkhi Dadri. Surjewala stated that invigilators informed candidates the packets had been received in the same condition as when they were sealed, raising questions about the handling of the materials. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate and nodal officer in Charkhi Dadri reportedly acknowledged the broken seals issue but shifted responsibility to the Haryana Board of School Education. The Congress leader further alleged discrepancies between the serial numbers on question papers and OMR sheets at centers in Rewari and Kaithal. He noted that some candidates were initially issued OMR sheets with another candidate’s roll number, which were later replaced after objections. Surjewala also pointed out the availability of spare OMR sheets in large quantities, which he argued cast doubt on the examination’s integrity. In Rewari, candidates appearing for the English PGT examination were initially given Economics question papers before they were replaced.#nayab_singh_saini #haryana_board_of_school_education #randeep_singh_surjewala #haryana_teacher_eligibility_test #charkhi_dadri
