People globally demand RSS help to train youth: Bhagwat Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), addressed a gathering in Nagpur on Friday to honor the contributions of RSS pracharaks, emphasizing the growing international interest in the organization’s model for youth training. Speaking at the event, Bhagwat highlighted that individuals from various countries have reached out to the RSS to understand its working principles. He noted that many of these visitors express a desire to replicate the RSS’s approach in training young people in their own nations. Bhagwat underscored the RSS’s vision of nation-building, asserting that all who identify with the concept of a Hindu Rashtra share the responsibility of safeguarding the nation’s dharma. He described this as not only protecting cultural and religious values from external threats but also embodying these principles in daily life. “Safeguarding dharma is not merely about defending it from external forces but also about practicing its values in one’s own existence,” he stated. The RSS chief argued that India must first serve as a living example of the ideals it seeks to promote globally. “The world believes India can show the way, but this will only be possible if India itself lives by those ideals,” he said. Bhagwat critiqued the shift in societal mindset since India’s independence, noting that many people came to view ancient Indian knowledge systems and philosophies as impractical. He pointed to the rise of Western ideas and lifestyles as a factor in the erosion of confidence in India’s cultural traditions. Rebuilding a society rooted in Indian values, Bhagwat claimed, requires restoring faith in the country’s civilisational heritage.#nagpur #rashtriya_swayamsevak_sangh #mohan_bhagwat #hindu_rashtra #keshav_baliram_hedgewar
