Escarleth, originally from Honduras, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and white sweatpants. Alejandro is 2 feet 10 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. The Texas Department of Public Safety indicated the two may be traveling in a red pickup truck. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar provided additional context during a Tuesday news conference, stating that Escarleth was recently in foster care. She abruptly left with a “strange” note, instructing others not to contact authorities and to send her belongings back to Honduras.
