Pakistan Super League 2026: Full List of Umpires and Match Officials The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is set to begin on March 26, marking the tournament’s 11th season. The league has expanded to eight teams, with the addition of the Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz. This season also introduces a new format, replacing the previous player drafts with a player auction, which was held for the first time in PSL history. The tournament will run from March 26 to April 26, featuring 40 matches across the National Stadium in Karachi and the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Karachi will host the Qualifier on April 28, while Lahore will stage the Eliminator 1 on April 29, Eliminator 2 on May 1, and the final on May 3. Among the teams, Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, have previously claimed the title three times each. Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Karachi Kings have each secured the trophy once. The expanded format and new auction system aim to enhance competitiveness and player engagement, reflecting the league’s growth and evolving structure.
