The event, themed “Human First, AI Forward – Building Karnataka’s Human-Centric Skills Blueprint,” focused on aligning technological progress with ethical, inclusive, and future-ready workforce training. Amitabh Ray, Chairman of the ICC National Expert Committee on Technology and Innovation, opened the summit by emphasizing the necessity of collaboration between humans and AI to shape the future of work. He argued that while automation might disrupt repetitive roles, a human-first approach would ensure job creation outpaces displacement, fostering productivity and economic resilience. Anuj Vaid, Vice President of Kyndryl India, delivered a Special Address highlighting the company’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity in its operations. He called on organizations to prioritize practical applications of AI over hype, noting that diverse teams drive superior innovation and client outcomes. Dr. Chenraj Roychand, President of Jain University, addressed the need to prepare India’s youth for an AI-accelerated economy. He stressed the importance of cultivating adaptable, multi-skilled, and ethically grounded talent to meet evolving demands.
