Jinggong Steel International Completes Jeddah Tower Steel Structure, Set to Become World's Tallest Landmark Jinggong Steel International, a subsidiary of Jinggong Steel Building Group, has secured the bid for the main steel structure of Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in the project’s development. This contract encompasses the full supply and erection of the tower’s primary steel framework, positioning the company as a central player in the construction of what will become the world’s tallest landmark. The Jeddah Tower, located in Saudi Arabia, is a flagship project under Saudi Vision 2030, designed to reach an unprecedented height of 1,008 meters. Construction of the tower began in 2013, but progress was halted in 2018 due to geopolitical tensions and the global pandemic. During the subsequent seven years, Jinggong Steel International focused on technological advancements and strategic adjustments to strengthen its position in the Middle East market. The project was officially restarted in early 2025, signaling a renewed commitment to the ambitious vision. As of now, over 100 floors have been completed, with the main structure surpassing 400 meters in height. The tower is projected to be finished by 2028, at which point it will surpass the 828-meter Burj Khalifa in Dubai to claim the title of the first 1,000-meter-class landmark building globally. The success of the Jeddah Tower project aligns with Jinggong Steel Building Group’s international business strategy, which emphasizes “Overseas Breakthrough.” This initiative aims to capitalize on global market opportunities to enhance the company’s competitiveness in new regions.#jinggong_steel_international #jeddah_tower #saudi_binladin_group #saudi_vision_2030 #belt_and_road
