Eder’s last known communication with his sister occurred at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, when he told her he was en route to her house. It would be the final message they received from him. On Sunday morning, a passerby discovered his body lying on the lawn of the 4200 block of Portland Avenue. His car was parked just feet away in the bike lane, with the keys still in the ignition and his valuables untouched inside. The scene has raised more questions than answers for his loved ones. Eder’s sister, Susan, described her brother as a “gentle guy” who was quiet and kind.
