Sarah Pidgeon in Talks for Kevin Costner’s New Movie Sarah Pidgeon is reportedly set to join Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming dramedy Honeymoon with Harry. The project, directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, is based on Bart Baker’s book and follows a tumultuous journey between Gyllenhaal’s character, a man with a troubled past, and Costner’s portrayal of his fiancée’s overprotective father. The story unfolds during a forced island honeymoon, where the two men clash before developing an unexpected connection. Pidgeon would play the role of the fiancée, a character central to the plot. The script was written by Dan Fogelman, known for creating Paradise and This Is Us, and produced by Fogelman alongside Gulfstream Pictures’ Mike Karz and Jennifer Salke through her Sullivan Street Productions banner. The film marks Pidgeon’s latest venture following her breakout role as Carolyn Bessette in FX and Ryan Murphy’s limited series Love Story, which became Hulu and Disney+’s most-watched series with over 25 million hours viewed in its first five episodes. Pidgeon’s recent filmography includes a 2026 crime drama, Born to Lose, and the 2025 thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer. She is also recognized for her roles as Leah Rilke in The Wilds and Young Clare in Tiny Beautiful Things, as well as appearances in Lazareth, Gotham, and One Dollar. Upcoming projects include Paul Schrader’s erotic thriller Non Compos Mentis, in which she co-stars with Liam Hemsworth, Caleb Landry Jones, and Dianne Wiest. Pidgeon made her Broadway debut in David Adjmi’s Stereophonic in 2024, earning a Tony nomination for her portrayal of Diana. While details about her casting in Honeymoon with Harry remain unconfirmed, her involvement would add to a growing list of high-profile roles.#sarah_pidgeon #jake_gyllenhaal #glenn_ficarra #kevin_costner #john_requa
