H-CITI Project Traffic Diversion Alert: One-Way Trial Run Around KBR Park A significant traffic diversion is set to take place around KBR Park in Hyderabad as part of the H-CITI (Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure) project. Construction work on a steel flyover and underpass in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills has led to the implementation of a one-way trial run on June 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Traffic police have instructed drivers to strictly follow designated traffic reroutes and alternative paths to avoid congestion. The H-CITI project, aimed at modernizing Hyderabad’s infrastructure, involves extensive construction in key areas including Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, and surrounding neighborhoods. The flyover and underpass projects are part of efforts to alleviate traffic bottlenecks and improve connectivity. The trial run is scheduled to test the new traffic flow patterns and ensure safety for commuters during the construction phase. Detailed traffic diversion guidelines have been provided for different routes: Vehicles heading towards SNT, Sagar Society (Mudh), KBR Park Entrance, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Road No. 36, Road No. 45, and the Cable Bridge (Durgam Cheruvu) are advised to take a left turn at NTAR Building to proceed toward Basavatara Cancer Hospital.
