2026 Renault Kwid Facelift Launched: Minor Tweaks To Help Keep The Hatchback Fresh Renault has introduced a minor facelift for the Kwid hatchback, marking its latest update to the model that remains a key player in India’s A-segment market. The 2026 version, priced at Rs 4.52 lakh (ex-showroom), features a streamlined variant lineup and cost reductions aimed at enhancing its value proposition. The Kwid, which has long been a popular choice for budget-conscious buyers, now comes in only two trims—Evolution and Climber—replacing the previous four variants. This simplification is accompanied by price cuts of up to Rs 32,000, depending on the chosen variant, making the hatchback more competitive in its segment. The Climber trim, now the higher-end option, includes a dual-tone paint scheme as a standard feature, a change from its earlier optional availability. Buyers who opt to purchase the Climber variant through Renault’s official website receive an additional Rs 15,000 discount, further boosting its appeal. These adjustments reflect Renault’s strategy to modernize the Kwid’s image while maintaining affordability. The facelift also introduces subtle styling changes, such as a new 2D Renault logo on the front and rear bumpers, updated dual-tone wheel covers, and revised roof rails with white inserts. These tweaks, while minimal, contribute to a refreshed visual identity for the model. Inside the cabin, the Kwid retains its existing layout but incorporates a new three-spoke steering wheel with piano black inserts, a design element borrowed from Renault’s other models like the Triber and Kiger. The steering wheel also features the updated 2D Renault logo, aligning the interior with the exterior changes.#india #renault #kwid #maruti_s_presso #alto_k10
