Serial Flasher Nabbed After Brief Chase, 2-Year Harassment Saga Ends A 28-year-old gig worker, identified as Khomdeo Patle alias Kartik, was arrested after a short chase by Rana Pratap Nagar police in Nagpur following a two-year ordeal of stalking and flashing at women. Patle, who resides in Jaitala Road, operated as a school van driver during the day while engaging in his alleged misconduct after midnight. Police confirmed that he targeted women in areas such as Ambazari Garden, Hingna Point, Padole Square, Shankar Nagar, Jaitala Road, Somalwada, Sonegaon, IT Park, and LAD Square. Patle allegedly covered his face with a cloth while riding a scooter alongside women, sometimes intercepting his targets to expose his genitals. Multiple cases were registered against him at Rana Pratap Nagar, Ambazari, and Bajaj Nagar police stations, but he evaded capture for years. On March 24, he reportedly chased two women in their mid-twenties on Jaitala Road, drove alongside them, and flashed at them. When they raised an alarm, he fled toward Sim Takli. Similar incidents occurred near IT Park, where he targeted two women on a scooter. Days before his arrest, Patle allegedly accosted two women near LAD Square. One of the victims confronted him, leading to a scuffle during which her clothes were torn before he escaped. Police stated that sustained efforts over the past two years finally led to a breakthrough. A special team was formed two months ago under the supervision of zonal DCP Rishikesh Reddy and senior inspector Pankaj Bondse, including constables Ankush Kanojiya, Ajay Dhurve, and Pravin Masram. Earlier attempts, such as a decoy operation involving a woman officer, failed as he managed to escape. Investigators identified Patle’s scooter based on victims’ descriptions.#nagpur #khomdeo_patle #rana_pratap_nagar #jaitala_road #lad_square
