Noah Kahan Fans Gather Outside Fenway Park for Sold-Out Concert Fenway Park hosted a full house of Noah Kahan fans on Friday night, marking the third of his four sold-out performances on “The Great Divide” tour. Outside the venue, a dedicated crowd gathered along Lansdowne Street, creating a lively atmosphere that rivaled the energy inside. Laurie Scafidi, a 67-year-old retiree from Litchfield, N.H., traveled from New Hampshire to join her daughter and sister at the event, having been a Kahan fan since 2019. “I saw on social media that people were doing this, hanging out and listening,” she said, adding that her daughter insisted they attend. The concert, part of Kahan’s tour with openers Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda, drew fans from across New England. Scafidi’s sister, Connie Mooney, described the outdoor gathering as “electric,” calling it “giving me hope back for humanity.” The event coincided with Kahan’s fifth performance at Fenway Park, following his previous sold-out shows during the “Stick Season” tour in July 2024, which were later released as a live album. Kahan, a Vermont native known for his folk-inspired music, resonates deeply with New Englanders through songs that reference local landmarks like Storrow Drive and Logan Airport. Charlie Almeida, a 24-year-old caretaker from South Boston, noted how these references create a unique connection for regional fans. “He makes those references that I’m sure people from other areas and regions understand, but it hits a little bit different when you’re from here,” he said. The tour’s success was marked by the first-ever artist to sell out four consecutive shows at Fenway Park, with approximately 150,000 tickets sold for the July 7, 8, 10, and 11 concerts.
