4-Year-Old Girl Sexually Harassed by Man Linked to Her Mother's Friend, Arrested Under POCSO Act A 30-year-old man, Syed Peer Muhammad, who was friends with a 35-year-old woman, was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act after sexually harassing a 4-year-old girl. The incident occurred when the man, who works as a painter, took the girl to school on his bike. The girl, who was the daughter of the woman he was friends with, threw a tantrum, prompting the man to assault her. The mother of the girl, who was also the woman he was friends with, reported the incident to the police. Authorities filed a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the man, who was subsequently detained in custody. The man, Syed Peer Muhammad, is the son of Maitain Khan, a painter residing in Down Parthiyan Street. He had been maintaining a close relationship with the 35-year-old woman, and the girl frequently visited her home. On the day of the incident, the man picked up the 4-year-old girl from a private school on his motorcycle. When the girl threw a tantrum, he became agitated and subjected her to physical and sexual abuse. The girl later cried and informed her mother about the incident. The mother immediately reported the case to the Down Women’s Police Station. The police then registered a complaint under the POCSO Act and arrested the man. He was produced before the court and remanded in custody for further investigation. The case highlights the vulnerability of children to sexual exploitation and the importance of stringent legal measures to protect them. The POCSO Act, which criminalizes sexual offenses against children, was invoked to ensure justice for the victim.#poCSO_act #syed_peer_muhammad #maitain_khan #down_parthiyan_street #down_women_s_police_station
