Man Claiming to Be Undercover Agent of NSA Ajit Doval Arrested in Bihar The Bihar Police have arrested a man who falsely claimed to be an undercover agent of National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval and an IAS officer. The accused, identified as Manish Gupta, was apprehended on Sunday following a raid by Khagaria police and the District Investigation Unit (DIU) on his luxury residence in Jamalpur Bazar. The operation involved an eight-hour search of his property, during which authorities recovered a range of items, including two luxury cars, a driverless Tesla with “Government of India” signboards, and a bungalow equipped with a swimming pool and private theatre. During the raid, police seized 31 litres of 29 brands of foreign liquor, nine litres of beer, and over 25 CCTV cameras installed throughout the residence. Additional items included six Apple mobile phones, two Apple laptops, a 4TB hard disk, 20 credit cards from different banks, eight debit cards, and four chequebooks. The police stated that Gupta possessed assets worth over ₹100 crore, which they believe were acquired through fraudulent means. Khagaria Superintendent of Police Bhanu Pratap Singh revealed that the arrest followed a tip-off about Gupta defrauding individuals by posing as an IAS officer and an undercover NSA agent. The accused displayed a “Government of India” signboard on his private vehicle and used an ID card on his mobile phone claiming to be affiliated with the Central Vigilance Commission. However, verification confirmed these claims were false.
