The design also drew from modern interpretations, such as the jūnihitoe gowns worn by Empress Michiko and Empress Masako during their enthronement ceremonies. Osaka’s outfit was a tribute to her Japanese heritage, blending historical elements with contemporary craftsmanship. The gown, constructed from vintage kimonos, a traditional shiromuku bridal kimono, and a deconstructed western-style wedding dress, featured intricate details that paid homage to Japanese culture. Osaka accessorized with jewelry from Mikimoto, a renowned Japanese pearl house, to further emphasize the connection to her roots.
