The List of Candidates (LOC) submission process for the second board exams, which will be held in May, has two phases. Phase 1 of the LOC submission is set to conclude by March 31, while Phase 2 will commence after the release of the results. Students who appeared for the February-March 2026 exams are eligible to register for the second board exams in May. However, they must ensure their details are correctly submitted during the LOC process. The final results for the initial exams are anticipated to be released by April 20, with the evaluation process for the February-March exams already completed. The rules governing the second board exams include specific eligibility criteria. Only students who have appeared in the first board exams with a minimum of three subjects can register for the second exams. Subject choices for the second exams are subject to the guidelines provided by the CBSE. Students who were in the compartment category in their first exams must follow the prescribed procedures to qualify for the second exams. The CBSE has also outlined the process for accessing the results. The final results will be available on the official CBSE portals, including cbse.gov.in, as well as other designated websites. The final marksheet for the 10th class will be released after the completion of the May exams. Students who wish to enroll for the second board exams have a 10-day window following the release of the initial results.
